For the next few weeks I will be featuring a different location that I love for senior photos. This week- I'm beginning with my favorite spot.. Detroit.
Detroit gets a bad rep for various reasons, but there's something about the Eastern Market area that I just love. The ever changing murals, old buildings, and occasional graffiti, every session is different.
The best thing about choosing to have your session in Detroit is the possibility to change up the second half of the session. There is the Belle Isle State Park, various Museums, and other hidden gems only 5-10 minutes away from the Eastern Market.
So many of my clients say they "want something different" for their senior session. I am able to do A LOT of different stuff in the same city, so your senior portraits won't look exactly like someone else's even if you choose the same city. Take a look below for a few of my favorite different shots from the beautiful city of Detroit.
Brianna Woods - Bay City 2020 Senior chose to go to the Eastern Market and then finish her session in the afternoon at Belle Isle State Park.
Sydnie Scott - Farwell High School Senior 2020 chose to go to Eastern Market and then to the Detroit Institute of Arts.
Kaia Asay - West Branch Senior 2020 chose to go to the Eastern Market and wanted a more urban look with graffiti.
